Dr. Nathan Davis
 
Dr. Nathan Davis has been a Christian public servant for almost 30 years.  He has served in various roles, from Youth Minister to Associate Pastor to Interim Pastor to Senior Pastor, in six different churches in Texas and Louisiana.  He has also spoken in numerous chapel services, conferences, camps, and revival services and has studied abroad in Greece and Oxford, England.  Dr. Davis has received his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching degree and his Master of Divinity degree with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  His doctoral dissertation was titled “The Homiletic Function of the Hortatory Subjunctives in the Book of Hebrews.” Prior to graduating from SWBTS, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry from East Texas Baptist University.   In December 2002, he married his wife, Melanie, also a graduate of East Texas Baptist University.  He and his wife Melanie are the proud parents of two teenagers – Reagan and McKinley.
